Wholemeal Green Apple Pie


How about a square wholemeal pie filled with green apple?

Ingredients

  • 1 sheets of wholemeal flexi pastry    1 片全麦多用途酥皮
  • 15g of butter    15 克牛油
  • 2 green apples    2 颗青苹果
  • 2 table spoon of custard sugar    2 汤匙幼糖
  • 1/4 tea spoon of cinnamon powder     1/4 茶匙肉桂粉
  • egg yolk    蛋黄






Steps 

  1. Peel off the apple skin and dice the flesh.    苹果去皮切叮。
  2. Heat up a pan and melt the butter.    烧热锅,煮溶牛油
  3. Pour in the apple dices and stir evenly so that the apple dices are coated with butter. Add the sugar, cook until the apple dices are tender and the remaining liquid is dried out.    倒入苹果叮拌匀,让牛油裹在果肉上。加进糖煮至果肉变软嫩,汤汁收干。
  4. Lastly sprinkle the cinnamon powder and stir well. Off the heat.     最后撒上肉桂粉拌匀熄火。
  5. Make some small holes on the wholemeal pastry with folk and spread some butter.     酥皮用叉些小洞洞,然后涂上牛油。
  6. Place the apple filling to the middle of pastry. Fold the 4 edges to center in order to cover the filling.    酥皮中间放苹果馅,4个角往中间折去。
  7. Egg wash the pie's surface.   表面涂上蛋黄。
  8. Bake the pie at 200°C for 25-30 minutes.    以200°C烘25-30分鐘即可
