Creamy Mushroom Soup & Scotland Mari Cheesy Stick


My bro-in-law gave me a pack of long tube cheesy sticks from Scotland. He said the sticks are nice to serve together with the creamy mushroom soup. Thus I decided to make my home-made mushroom soup today, so I can enjoy those Scotland made snack.

Ingredients

  • button mushroom    蘑菇
  • butter/margarine    牛油/黄油
  • onion    洋葱
  • garlic    
  • milk    牛奶
  • salt    
  • pepper    胡椒粉
  • oregano    牛至
  • all-purpose flour    普通面粉
  • cheesy sticks    芝士脆条

Steps 

  1. Sliced the mushroom. Chopped the onion and garlic.   蘑菇切片。洋葱和蒜切末。
  2. Heat up a pan and stir-fried the mushroom to fragrant without oil.    烧热锅不下油干炒蘑菇至出味。
  3. Heat up a pan and melt the butter/margarine. Saute the onion and garlic.     用牛油/黄油爆香洋葱和蒜。
  4. Add in the flour and stir-fried to brown.    加入面粉炒至黄色。  
  5. Pour the milk in little by little and stir thoroughly every pouring.    分次加奶,每加一次都得搅拌均匀无颗粒才再加奶。
  6. Put in the mushroom and cook a little while.    加入蘑菇稍微煮一下。
  7. Off the heat and leave cold down a bit. Blend to fine puree.    熄火后,让它稍微冷却然后用果汁机打成细泥。
  8. Pour into the pan again and heat up the puree.    倒入锅再煮热。
  9. Add the milk bit by bit if too thick. Stir evenly every pouring.    如果太浓稠可以分次加入牛奶, 每加一次务必与蘑菇泥混合均匀。
  10. Season with salt, pepper, oregano.    以盐、胡椒,牛至调味。
  11. Serve the creamy soup with the cheesy sticks.    蘑菇浓汤和芝士脆条一起上桌。
