Quite a long time didn't have the spring roll (popiah pastry) in my kitchen. So today is the day of spring roll.
Ingredients
- egg 蛋
- carrot 胡萝卜
- capsicum 灯笼辣椒
- tomato 番茄
- butterhead lettuce 结球莴苣
- spring roll pastry 薄饼皮
- seaweed/nori 寿司用紫菜
- miso paste 味噌
- peanut butter 花生酱
- honey 蜜糖
- sesame 芝麻
- unshelled and skinless peanut 去壳去衣花生
- salt 盐
- plain water 清水
Steps
- Roast the sesame and peanut to golden brown. Grind to powder. 芝麻和花生烘成金黄色磨碎成粉。
- Well mix the peanut butter, miso paste, honey, the ground sesame and peanut and lastly a little bit of water. The creamy salad dressing is done. 把花生酱、味噌、蜜糖、磨碎的芝麻和花生,还有少许水全部混合均匀成表面光滑的沙拉酱。
- Cut the vegetables into desire size. 把蔬菜切成喜好的大小。
- Pan fried the egg into omelette and cut into slices. 把蛋煎成蛋饼切条状。
- Place a piece of seaweed/nori to the center of spring roll pastry. Spread some dressing on top of seaweed/nori. Then the egg, carrot, tomato, capsicum and lettuce above the dressing. Fold both sides of the pastry to the middle then roll up. 在薄饼皮中央放张紫菜,上面涂些沙拉酱。然后排上蛋、胡萝卜、番茄、灯笼辣椒、莴苣,两边向内折再卷起来。
