Egg & Salad Spring Rolls



Quite a long time didn't have the spring roll (popiah pastry) in my kitchen. So today is the day of spring roll. 

Ingredients

  • egg     
  • carrot     胡萝卜
  • capsicum     灯笼辣椒
  • tomato    番茄
  • butterhead lettuce     结球莴苣
  • spring roll pastry    薄饼皮
  • seaweed/nori    寿司用紫菜
  • miso paste    味噌
  • peanut butter    花生酱
  • honey    蜜糖
  • sesame    芝麻
  • unshelled and skinless peanut    去壳去衣花生
  • salt    
  • plain water    清水

Steps 

  1. Roast the sesame and peanut to golden brown. Grind to powder.    芝麻和花生烘成金黄色磨碎成粉。
  2. Well mix the peanut butter, miso paste, honey, the ground sesame and peanut and lastly a little bit of water. The creamy salad dressing is done.    把花生酱、味噌、蜜糖、磨碎的芝麻和花生,还有少许水全部混合均匀成表面光滑的沙拉酱
  3. Cut the vegetables into desire size.    把蔬菜切成喜好的大小。
  4. Pan fried the egg into omelette and cut into slices.    把蛋煎成蛋饼切条状。
  5. Place a piece of seaweed/nori to the center of spring roll pastry. Spread some dressing on top of seaweed/nori. Then the egg, carrot, tomato, capsicum and lettuce above the dressing. Fold both sides of the pastry to the middle then roll up.    在薄饼皮中央放张紫菜,上面涂些沙拉酱。然后排上蛋、胡萝卜、番茄、灯笼辣椒、莴苣两边向内折再卷起来
