Another multi-grain dessert that comes in romantic purple.
Ingredients
- multi-grain rice 五壳米
- diced purple sweet potato 紫蕃薯叮
- sago 沙谷米
- crystal sugar 冰糖
- plain water 清水
Steps
- Bring a big pot of water to boil. Pour the sago into the boiling water and cook at low-heat for about 10 minutes. Keep stirring during its cooking. 煮開一大煲水。倒入沙谷米轉小火一邊煮一邊攪約10分鐘。
- Off the heat and on the lid to steam the sago until it turns to translucent. 熄火﹐ 蓋上鍋蓋燜至所有沙谷米轉透明.
- Run the sago under cold water to wash away the starch. 熟透的沙谷米用清水洗掉粘液泥。
- Place the multi-grain rice and diced sweet potato into a pot of water and cook until tender. 把五壳米和 蕃薯叮倒入锅里用水煮软。
- Add the crystal sugar and cook until dissolved. Lastly add the sago and stir thoroughly. 加冰糖煮至融化。最后加入沙谷米拌匀。
