Topokki in Red Sauce




Topokki (fried rice cake) in tomato red sauce.

Ingredients

  • pumpkin    南瓜     
  • napa cabbage/chinese cabbage     黄芽白/大白菜
  • tomato    番茄
  • onion    洋葱
  • garlic    
  • fried rice cake    炒年糕
  • enokitake     金针菇
  • gobo/greater burdock    牛蒡
  • tomato puree    番茄泥
  • Cayenne pepper powder    辣椒粉
  • sugar    
  • salt    盐
  • rice/ginger wine    米/姜酒
  • sesame oil    麻油
  • plain water    清水




Steps 

  1. Cut the ingredients into desire size.    把材料切成喜欢的大小。
  2. Cook the fried rice cake with a pot of water to tender. Drain the fried rice cake.    炒年糕用开水煮软隔水。
  3. Mix the tomato puree, pepper powder, sugar, salt, wine, sesame oil and a some plain water in a bowl.    将番茄泥, 辣椒粉、糖、盐、酒、麻油、清水混合均匀。
  4. Heat up the pan with cooking oil. Saute the onion and garlic.    热锅放油爆香洋葱和蒜。
  5. Toss in the pumpkin and gobo, add a little water to cook to tender. Then add other vegetable and stir well.    倒入南瓜,牛蒡,和少许水煮至软身,将其它蔬菜加入煮。
  6. Add the fried rice cake.    倒入炒年糕。
  7. Pour in the tomato sauce from step (4), and stir thoroughly.    加入步骤(4)的番茄酱混匀
