Egg Noodle (Wantan Mee)


Egg noodle (wantan noodle) in creamy gravy.

Ingredients

  • carrot   胡萝卜
  • napa cabbage/chinese cabbage     黄芽白/大白菜
  • cauliflower    包菜花
  • broccoli    西兰花
  • enokitake     金针菇
  • chicken fillet    鸡柳
  • garlic    
  • egg/wantan noodle    云吞面
  • cornflour    玉米粉
  • sesame oil    麻油
  • pepper    胡椒
  • rice/ginger wine    米/姜酒
  • salt    
  • plain water    清水

Steps 

  1. Boil the chicken fillet in a pot of water to cooked. Shred it.    鸡柳入锅用水煮熟,弄成鸡肉丝。
  2. Cut the ingredients into desire size.    把材料切成喜欢的大小。
  3. Boil a pot of water. Pour in the noodle and cook to tender. Drain the nooodle.    面条用开水煮软隔水
  4. Saute the garlic. Then add the vegetables and stir fry.    爆香蒜,然后加入其余蔬菜兜允。
  5. Pour some water in and cook a little while.    加入水煮一会儿。
  6. Place the noodle in and stir well. Pour in the cornflour mixture (cornflour mix well with the plain water).    加入面条拌匀,打芡(玉米粉加水混合)。
  7. Season with salt, sesame oil, pepper and wine.    以盐、麻油、胡椒和酒调味。
