Clay-pot Cellophane Noodle





Have a pot of steaming hot noodle in a raining day.

Ingredients

  • sweet potato cellophane     蕃薯冬粉
  • cabbage    包菜
  • salmon fillet    三文鱼柳
  • carrot    胡萝卜
  • gobo/greater burdock    牛蒡
  • napa cabbage/chinese cabbage     黄芽白/大白菜
  • enokitake     金针菇
  • garlic    
  • dried scallop broth    干贝高汤
  • miso paste    味噌
  • sesame oil    麻油

Steps

  1. Boil the sweet potato cellophane until tender. Wash under running water to wash away the starch.    蕃薯冬粉用滚水煮软。然后在流水下洗掉粘液。
  2. Cut the vegetables into desire size.    蔬菜切成喜欢的大小。
  3. Pan fried the salmon fillet and cut into smaller pieces.    三文鱼柳煎香切小片。
  4. Pour the dried scallop broth into the claypot and bring to boil.    干贝高汤倒入瓦煲里煮开。
  5. Place the vegetables, cellophane noodle, fish into the boiling soup, on the claypot lid and cook until tender.    把蔬菜,蕃薯冬粉,鱼放入汤煮。盖上瓦煲盖煮至软。
  6. Season the soup with miso. Off the heat.    用味噌调味,熄火。
  7. Heat up a pan with sesame oil. Saute the garlic. Then pour into the claypot and stir well. It is ready to serve now.    另烧热锅倒入麻油,爆香蒜;然后全部倒入瓦煲里与其它材料混匀即可。
