Wholemeal Potato Bread (Bread Maker)



Can't stop 'playing' with my bread maker. Another wholemeal loaf made of potato puree.

Ingredients

  • 220g of high-protein flour    220 克高筋面粉
  • 30g of wholemeal high-protein flour    30 克全麦高筋面粉
  • 225g of potato puree    225 克马铃薯泥
  • 50 g of milk    50 克牛奶
  • 30g of sugar    30 克糖
  • 1 tea spoon of instant yeast     1 茶匙速溶酵母
  • 1 egg (slightly beaten)    1 颗蛋(稍打散)
  • 40g of butter (room temperature)    40 克牛油(室温)
  • 1 tea spoon of salt    1 茶匙

Steps 

  1. Place the potato puree, egg, milk, sugar into the bread pan, then follow by salt, flour, butter and yeast on most top. To avoid the yeast been 'killed' by the salt,  make sure they are separated by a layer of flour.    马铃薯泥、蛋、奶、糖倒入烤盘里, 接着放盐、粉,最表面放牛油和酵母。盐和酵母之间用粉隔开以免酵母直接接触盐而失效。
  2. Choose the 'sweet' mode, 'light' color for the crust, '1lb' for the loaf size.     选‘sweet'程式, 面包上色  ‘light’,面包重量‘1lb' 
  3. Press 'Start/Stop' button. The machine starts and let it complete its mission automatically.     按’Start/Stop'钮。面包机启动后让它自动完成任务。
  4. Remove the bread pan from the machine.     烤盘取出。
  5. Use non-stick spatula to gently loosen the sides of the loaf from pan.    用不沾质料的刮刀弄松面包四周。
  6. Turn bread pan up-side down and shake gently until the loaf gets out from the pan.    烤盘倒转轻轻摇至面包脱离。
  7. Leave the loaf to cold and slice to serve.    面包放凉后切片享用。
