Red Bean Paste (Bread Maker)



The bread maker is a quite handy tool to me recently. The filling paste like lotus, red bean, pineapple can be done by the machine conveniently by using the 'Jam' mode.

Ingredients

  • 36g of cooking oil    36 克食油
  • 300g of red bean    300 克红豆
  • 2400ml of plain water    2400 毫升清水
  • 120g of custard sugar    120 克砂糖


 Steps 

  1. Soak the bean into water overnight.    红豆泡水过夜。
  2. Pour the bean and the 2400 ml water into a pot and cook till the bean soft and tender.    把红豆和2400毫升水倒入锅里煮至软烂。
  3. Blend the bean to smooth puree.    用果汁机打烂成滑绵红豆泥。
  4. Place the bean puree and sugar into the breadmaker's bread pan.    红豆泥和糖倒入面包机烤盘。  
  5. Choose the 'jam' mode.   选‘jam'程式。
  6. Press 'Start/Stop' button. The machine starts. Add the oil when the paste starts dry up.     按’Start/Stop'钮。面包机启动。当红豆泥开始收干水份,倒入食油。
  7. If the paste is too moist, restart the 'jam' mode until the puree turn to desire texture.    如果红豆泥太湿,重启‘jam'程式直到红豆泥煮至喜欢的湿润度。   
  8. Remove the bread pan from the machine.     烤盘取出。
  9. Use non-stick spatula to remove the paste from pan.    用不沾质料的刮刀刮出红豆尼。
