Pancakes/Waffles



I wanna make some pancake for my boy but I'm rather to use the waffle machine instead of pan. That's because I 'malas jaga' and flip the pancakes during cooking. So I decide to turn the pancake batter into waffle using the machine.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs    2 顆蛋
  • 50g of condensed milk    50 克炼奶
  • 120g of self-raising flour    120 克自发粉
  • 50g of melted butter    50 克融化牛油
  • 70g of plain water    70 克清水
  • a touch of vanilla essence    香草精适量

Steps 

  1. Mix the condensed milk with plain water.     炼奶加清水搅均匀。
  2. Place the egg, condensed milk mixture and vanilla essence into a container, whisk thoroughly.     蛋、炼奶水和香草精置入一碗﹐用打蛋器打允。
  3. Sift the flour. Then fold into the egg mixture.     麵粉過篩﹐然後拌進蛋糊裡。
  4. Add the butter and stir well. Set aside for 30 minutes.    加牛油拌匀,休息30分钟。
  5. Heat up the waffle maker, grease the waffle pan. Scoop 1 table spoon of batter and place in the center of the waffle pan.    预热松饼机,松饼机的烤盘抹上一層油。舀一湯匙麵糊倒在盘中央。
  6. Put the lid on.    合上松饼机蓋烘。
  7. Remove the waffle from pan when both sides turn to brown..    麵糊的兩面烘至金黃色即可取出。
  8. Serve with syrup/condense milk/honey/butter when they are still hot.    吃時可淋上糖漿﹑煉奶﹑蜜糖﹑牛油。趁熱吃﹗﹗
