Rice Vermicelli in Bitter Gourd Soup


Bitter gourd (苦瓜) is a vegetable that Chinese used to cold down the body internally. It can be served in various ways, and I'm going to make noodle in bitter gourd soup.

Ingredients

  • pork ribs    排骨
  • red dates    红枣
  • chinese wolf berries    枸杞
  • bitter gourd     苦瓜
  • bunapishimeji     白玉菇
  • tomato    番茄
  • rice vermicelli/mee suah    面线
  • rice/ginger wine    米/姜酒
  • salt    
  • pepper    胡椒粉

  Steps 

  1. Soak the red dates and chinese wolf berries into hot water until they soften enough.    红枣和枸杞浸热水泡软。
  2. Cut ingredients into desire size.    把材料切成喜好的大小。
  3. Make a pork ribs stock.     排骨熬成高汤。
  4. Then put in other ingredients.    加入其它材料。
  5. Season with wine, salt, pepper.    以酒、盐、胡椒调味。
