Chinese used to have the longevity noodle during birthday celebration to symbolize a long happy life. Is non of my family member's birthday today, but wanna have a first try on this noodle in my kitchen.
Ingredients
- carrot 胡萝卜
- napa cabbage/chinese cabbage 黄芽白/大白菜
- cauliflower 包菜花
- chives 韭菜
- ginger 姜
- garlic 蒜
- bunashimeji 灵芝菇
- longevity noodle 长寿面
- egg 鸡蛋
- cornflour 玉米粉
- sesame oil 麻油
- pepper 胡椒
- light soy sauce 酱油
- salt 盐
- plain water 清水
Steps
- Cut the ingredients into desire size. 把材料切成喜欢的大小。
- Boil a pot of water. Pour in the noodle and cook to tender. Drain the nooodle. 面条用开水煮软隔水。
- Saute the garlic and ginger. Then add the vegetables and stir fry. 爆香蒜和姜,然后加入其余蔬菜兜 允。
- Place the noodle in and stir well. Pour in the cornflour mixture (cornflour mix well with the plain water). 加入面条拌匀,打芡(玉米粉加水混合)。
- Add the egg and stir evenly. 加蛋拌允。
- Season with salt, light soy sauce, pepper and sesame oil. 以盐、酱油、胡椒和麻油调味。
