Chicken Mushroom in Wholemeal Bread

I bought a pack of wholemeal bread from a bakery shop few days back. I'm using them to make the chicken mushroom sandwich.

Ingredients

  • chicken fillet    鸡柳
  • button mushroom    蘑菇
  • onion    洋葱
  • garlic    
  • salt    
  • black pepper corn     黑胡椒粒
  • oregano    牛至   
  • corn flour    玉米粉
  • milk    牛奶
  • cheese    芝士
  • wholemeal bread    麦面包
  • butter/margarine    牛油/黄油

  Steps 

  1. Chopped the onion and garlic. Dice the chicken and mushroom.    洋葱和蒜切末。鸡柳和蘑菇切叮。
  2. Marinate the chicken fillet with corn flour a little while.    鸡柳以玉米粉腌一下。
  3. Grind the peppercorn roughly.    粗略捣碎胡椒粒。
  4. Heat up the pan with some cooking oil. Saute the onion and garlic.    热锅下油爆香洋葱和蒜。
  5. Add the chicken and mushroom.     加鸡柳和蘑菇。
  6. Pour a little milk to have a creamier gravy. (Not too much milk else the filling would be too moist).    放入少许奶让馅料更香滑浓稠。(别加太多不然馅料太湿)。
  7. Season with salt, ground pepper and oregano.    以盐、胡椒碎和牛至调味。
  8. Cut the wholemeal bread into 2 parts. Spread some butter/margarine and sandwich the chicken mushroom and cheese. Bake at 150°C for 8-10 minutes.    麦面包切开涂上牛油/黄油,夹上鸡肉蘑菇馅料和芝士。150°C烘8-10分钟。
