Basic White Loaf (Bread Maker)



Finally I have my own brand new bread maker. Can't wait to try it but I'm a bit worry to operate it with recipes from internet. Thus to get familiar with this new body, I try the basic plain white loaf that stated in its user guide and I made a little amendment on it.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of high-protein flour    2 杯高筋面粉
  • 1 tea spoon of instant yeast    1 茶匙速溶酵母
  • 1.5 table spoon of sugar    1.5 汤匙糖
  • 160ml of warm milk    160 毫升温奶   **The original recipe used warm water,, but I substituted with milk.    原本的食谱用温水,但我改用奶**
  • 1 table spoon of butter    1 汤匙牛油    **The original recipe used oil,, but I substituted with butter.    原本的食谱用食油,但我改用牛油**
  • 1 tea spoon of salt    1 茶匙

Steps 

  1. Place the milk into the bread pan, then follow by salt, sugar, flour, butter and yeast on most top. To avoid the yeast been 'killed' by the salt,  make sure they are separated by a layer of flour.    奶倒入烤盘里, 接着放盐、糖、粉,最表面放牛油和酵母。盐和酵母之间用粉隔开以免酵母直接接触盐而失效。
  2. Choose the 'basic' mode, 'light' color for the crust, '1lb' for the loaf size.     选‘basic'程式, 面包上色  ‘light’,面包重量‘1lb' 
  3. Press 'Start/Stop' button. The machine starts and let it complete its mission automatically.     按’Start/Stop'钮。面包机启动后让它自动完成任务。
  4. Remove the bread pan from the machine.     烤盘取出。
  5. Use non-stick spatula to gently loosen the sides of the loaf from pan.    用不沾质料的刮刀弄松面包四周。
  6. Turn bread pan up-side down and shake gently until the loaf gets out from the pan.    烤盘倒转轻轻摇至面包脱离。
  7. Leave the loaf to cold and slice to serve.    面包放凉后切片享用。
