One-Pot Pasta



The ordinary pasta usually takes 2 pots to work. One to boil the pasta while the other will prepare the sauce. Few days back, I've learned a simplest method from my daily newspaper~ one-pot pasta, where cooking the pasta by using only 1 pot and everything cook at once. Isn't that sounds awesome to you? 

Ingredients

  • broccoli     西兰花
  • celery    西芹
  • napa cabbage/chinese cabbage     黄芽白/大白菜
  • tomato    番茄
  • button mushroom     蘑菇
  • onion    洋葱
  • garlic    蒜 
  • pasta    意粉
  • shredded roasted chicken    烤鸡肉丝
  • pepper    胡椒粉
  • oreagano    牛至
  • salt    盐
  • dried scallop broth    干贝高汤
  • milk    牛奶

Steps 

  1. Cut the ingredients into desire size.    把材料切成喜欢的大小。
  2. Heat up the pan with cooking oil. Saute the onion and garlic.    热锅放油爆香洋葱和蒜。
  3. Pour in the dried scallop broth (not too much so the pasta wouldn't turn out too moist) and bring to boil.    倒入适量干贝高汤(别放太多不然成品很湿)煮开。
  4. Toss in the pasta and boil to half-cooked, then add the vegetables and shredded chicken.    放入意粉煮至半熟,加其它蔬菜和鸡肉丝。
  5. Follow by the milk.    倒入牛奶。
  6. When the sauce almost dried out, season with salt, pepper, oregano.    当酱汁快收干,以盐、胡椒粉、牛至调味。
