Salad in Hot Wafu Dressing


Sweet, sour, hot and salty in a plate.

Ingredients

  • sweet potato cellophane     蕃薯冬粉
  • napa cabbage/chinese cabbage     黄芽白/大白菜
  • butterhead lettuce     结球莴苣
  • capsicum    灯笼辣椒
  • sesame    芝麻  
  • unshelled and skinless peanut    去壳去衣花生
  • sesame oil    麻油
  • sushi/sashimi soy sauce    寿司/刺身酱油
  • sushi rice vinegar    寿司醋
  • sugar    
  • Cayenne pepper powder    辣椒粉

 Steps 

  1. Roast the sesame and peanut. Grind the peanut.    烤香芝麻和花生。花生压碎。
  2. Bring a pot of water to boil. Toss in the sweet potato cellophane and cook to tender. Drain the cellophane and set aside.    烧开水,放入蕃薯冬粉煮软隔水备用。
  3. Cut the vegetables into desire size.    蔬菜切成喜欢的大小。
  4. Now prepare the hot-kick wafu dressing: Place the sesame oil, sugar, sushi/sashimi soy sauce, sushi rice vinegar, Cayenne pepper powder into a bowl and stir well.   现在准备麻辣和风酱;将麻油、糖、寿司/刺身酱油、寿司醋、辣椒粉放一碗里拌匀。
  5. Place the vegetables, cellophane, sesame and peanut on a plate, mix thoroughly with wafu dressing.    把材料排在碟里,然后淋上麻辣和风酱拌匀即可。
