Creamy Pumpkin noodle


Pumpkin noodle in thick gravy.

Ingredients

  • gobo/greater burdock    牛蒡
  • napa cabbage/chinese cabbage     黄芽白/大白菜
  • broccoli    西兰花
  • amaranth    苋菜
  • dried mushroom    冬菇
  • garlic    
  • pumpkin noodle    南瓜面
  • cornflour    玉米粉
  • sesame oil    麻油
  • ginger/rice wine    姜/米酒
  • pepper    胡椒
  • light soy sauce    酱油
  • salt    
  • plain water    清水

Steps 

  1. Soak the dried mushroom into water until tender then drain. Keep the water for later use.    冬菇浸水泡软隔水。泡过的水留起来备用。
  2. Cut the ingredients into desire size.    把材料切成喜欢的大小。
  3. Boil a pot of water. Pour in the pumpkin noodle and cook to tender. Drain the noodle.    面条用开水煮软隔水
  4. Saute the garlic. Then add the vegetables and stir fry.    爆香蒜,然后加入其余蔬菜兜 允。
  5. Add some plain water also the drained water from step (1). Cook the vegetables to tender.    加少许清水和步骤(1)的泡冬菇水。把蔬菜煮软。
  6. Place the noodle in and stir well. Pour in the cornflour mixture (cornflour mix well with the plain water).    加入面条拌匀,打芡(玉米粉加水混合)。
  7. Season with salt, light soy sauce, pepper, wine and sesame oil.    以盐、酱油、胡椒、酒和麻油调味。
