Pumpkin and vegetables in Curry



Another curry with pumpkins and assorted vegetables.

Ingredients

  • celery    西芹
  • carrot    胡萝卜
  • cabbage    包菜
  • tomato   番茄
  • pumpkin    南瓜
  • onion    洋葱
  • garlic    蒜 
  • lemongrass    香茅 
  • curry powder    咖哩粉
  • milk    牛奶
  • plain water    清水
  • salt    
  • pepper    胡椒
  • light soy sauce    酱油

  Steps 

  1. Crush the lemon grass with the back of a knife blade.    用刀背把香茅敲烂。
  2. Diced the onion and garlic.    洋葱和蒜切叮。
  3. Cut the other ingredients into desire size.    其他材料切成喜欢的大小。
  4. Heat up the pan with cooking oil. Saute the onion and garlic.   以菜油烧热锅,再爆香葱和蒜。
  5. Add the curry powder and stir fried until fragranted.    加入咖哩粉炒香。 
  6. Add the plain water and place the lemon grass into the curry mixture.    加清水和放进香茅。
  7. Then put in the pumpkins and carrots, cook till half-soften.    倒入南瓜和胡萝卜煮至半软。
  8. Then follow by other ingredients.    然后加入其余的材料。
  9. Pour in the milk and bring to boil. Season with light soy sauce, salt and pepper.   倒入牛奶煮滚。放酱油、盐和胡椒调味。
