Salad-in-Sesame-Dressing Spring Roll


I'm using the sesame dressing sauce mix with a bunch of vegetables, and wrap them with spring roll pastry (popiah pastry). Isn't that sounds easy for you?

Ingredients

  • broccoli    西兰花 
  • carrot     胡萝卜
  • celery     西芹
  • brinjal   茄子
  • spring roll pastry    薄饼皮
  • miso paste    味噌
  • sushi/sashimi soy sauce    寿司/刺身酱油
  • sesame oil    麻油
  • Dijon mustard    法式第戎芥末醬
  • honey    蜜糖
  • sesame    芝麻
  • unshelled and skinless peanut    去壳去衣花生
  • plain water    清水

  Steps 

  1. Roast the sesame and peanut to golden brown. Grind to powder.    芝麻和花生烘成金黄色磨碎成粉。
  2. Well mix the sesame oil, miso paste, sushi/sashimi soy sauce, Dijon mustard, honey, the ground sesame and peanut and lastly a little bit of water. The creamy sesame dressing is done.    把芝麻油、味噌、寿司/刺身酱油法式第戎芥末醬、蜜糖、磨碎的芝麻和花生,还有少许水全部混合均匀成表面光滑的芝麻酱
  3. Cut the vegetables into desire size.    把蔬菜切成喜好的大小。
  4. Steam the vegetables to cooked.    把蔬菜蒸熟。
  5. Mix the vegetables and the sesame dressing thoroughly.     蔬菜和芝麻酱混合均匀。
  6. Scoop some vegetables to the middle of spring roll pastry, fold both sides of the pastry to the middle then roll up.    舀些蔬菜在薄饼皮中央,两边向内折再卷起来
