I'm using multi-grain rice instead of sushi rice for my temaki. I then add some vege and egg into it, dip with a little sushi/sashimi soy sauce. Nice and much healthier.
Ingredients
- shredded carrot 胡萝卜丝
- shredded cucumber 黄瓜丝
- cherry tomato 樱桃番茄
- multi-grain rice 五壳米
- egg 蛋
- salt 盐
- sugar 糖
- sushi rice vinegar 寿司醋
- Seaweed/Nori 寿司用紫菜
Steps
- Cook the multi-grain rice according to the instruction given. Then mix with sushi rice vinegar, salt and sugar. Stir gently. 依照包装上指示煮好五壳米饭,再把饭与寿司醋、盐、糖拌好。
- Spread the multi-grain rice on a sheet of Nori. Place the carrot, cucumber, cherry tomato and egg on top. 把五壳寿司饭覆盖在紫菜上。上面放些黄瓜丝、胡萝卜丝、樱桃番茄、蛋。
- Roll the Nori into a corn shape. Serve them with sushi soy sauce. 然后把紫菜卷成圆锥形。吃时沾寿司酱油。
