Multi-Grain Porridge



A porridge make use of multi-grain. It looks and taste different from the ordinary rice porridge, but definitely better fragrant and more chewing texture.

Ingredients

  • multi-grains rice    五壳米
  • capsicum    灯笼辣椒
  • dried black fungus    木耳
  • dried mushroom    冬菇
  • carrot    胡萝卜
  • cucumber    黄瓜
  • salt & pepper    盐和胡椒

  Steps 

  1. Soak the dried mushroom and dried black fungus into water to soften. Slice them.    冬菇和木耳泡水浸软,切片。
  2. Cook the multi-grains rice porridge according to the instruction given.    五壳米依照指示煮成粥。
  3. Cut the capsicum, carrot, cucumber into desired shape and size.    把灯笼辣椒、胡萝卜、黄瓜依喜好切小块。
  4. Add in the mushroom, fungus, capsicum, carrot into the porridge. Let it cook for few minutes before off the heat.    把冬菇、木耳、灯笼辣椒、胡萝卜加进粥里煮几分钟熄火。
  5. Season with salt and pepper. Lastly sprinkle the cucumber on top.    以盐和胡椒调味。最后撒上黄瓜。
