Gnocchi (without potato)





I found a cute and simple pasta to make at home~Gnocchi. It doesn't need the pasta maker or any other sophisticated tool to be used. All you need is a fork to make the shape.
The regular Gnocchi used potato as one of the main ingredient, but not mine. Easy ha?

Ingredients

  • 150g of all-purpose flour    150 克普通/中筋面粉
  • 1 egg    1 颗蛋
  • 1/2 table spoon of cooking oil    1/2汤匙菜油
  • 1/8 tea spoon of salt    1/8 茶匙鹽
  • 25g of water    25 克水

Steps 

Pasta

  1. Place the flour,egg, cooking oil and salt into a mixing bowl. Pour the water bit by bit while kneading. Stop when the dough is smooth. Knead it for about 5 minutes.     把面粉、蛋、油、盐置入碗里。水一点一点加入,混合揉成光滑面团即停止加水。继续揉5分钟。
  2. Rest the dough in fridge for 30 minutes.    冷藏休面约30分钟。
  3. Roll the dough into a log.    面团揉成长条。
  4. Cut the dough into smaller pieces, roll into balls. Coat them with some flour. Press some lines on Gnocchi with a fork.    把面团切小块滚成球状。裹上一层薄薄面粉。用叉子在表面压线。
  5. Cook the Gnocchi in the boiling salted water few minutes to thoroughly cooked. Serve them with any ordinary pasta sauce.    把做法(4)放入煮滚的盐水里煮数分钟至熟。拌上意大利面酱吃。
