Salad Spring Roll




Another simple idea to have your healthy lunch. Just use any ingredient in the fridge and wrap with spring roll pastries (we used to call them popiah pastry/skin).

Ingredients

  • gobo/greater burdock    牛蒡
  • alfafa and radish sprouts     苜蓿芽和萝卜芽
  • napa cabbage/chinese cabbage     黄芽白/大白菜
  • carrot    胡萝卜
  • chopped onion    洋葱粒
  • chopped garlic    蒜米
  • toasted sesame    烤好的芝麻
  • spring roll pastry    薄饼皮
  • light soy sauce    酱油
  • sesame oil    麻油
  • pepper    胡椒

  Steps 

  1. Cut the vegetable into desire size.    蔬菜切成喜欢的大小。
  2. Heat up the pan with sesame oil. Saute the onion and garlic.   以麻油烧热锅,再爆香葱和蒜。
  3. Then follow by carrot, gobo/greater burdock, napa cabbage.    然后加入胡萝卜、牛蒡、黄芽白。
  4. Season with light soy sauce and pepper. Off the heat and set to cold. This will be the filling.   用酱油和胡椒调味,熄火放凉既是内馅。
  5. Scoop some filling into the middle of spring roll pastry, sprinkle the toasted sesame and alfafa and radish sprouts on top. Fold both sides to the middle then roll up. Serve them with your favorite dipping sauce.    舀些内馅在薄饼皮中央,撒上芝麻、苜蓿芽和萝卜芽。两边向内折再卷起来。上桌时附上沾酱
