Golden Pumpkin Bun filled with Cheesy Bacon




I've made the pumpkin flavored buns filled with bacon and a bunch of cheese, where both adults and kids would love them so much.

Ingredients

  • 100g of pumpkin puree    100 克南瓜泥
  • 150g of high-protein flour    150 克高筋面粉
  • 1/2 tea spoon of baking powder    1/2 茶匙发粉
  • 15 g of custard sugar    15 克砂糖
  • 1/8 tea spoon of salt    1/8 茶匙盐
  • 3/8 tea spoon of instant yeast    3/茶匙速溶酵母
  • 15ml of milk    15 毫升牛奶
  • 15g of butter (room temperature)    15 克牛油(室温)
  • a pinch of oregano    1小撮牛至
  • 2 slices of bacon    2 片熏肉
  • a pinch of black pepper    1小撮胡椒     
  • a bunch of shredded Cheddar cheese    一把车打芝士丝 
  • 2 pieces of sliced cheese    2 片状芝士    

             

  Steps 

  1. Grease the baling tray. Place the bacon in the tray,  spread a little oil and sprinkle some pepper on the surface. Bake at 200°C for 10 minutes.      烤盘抹一层油。把熏肉放上,表面抹些油和撒一点胡椒,200°C烤10分钟。
  2. Put the pumpkin puree, sifted high-protein flour and baking powder, sugar, salt, yeast, oregano, milk into a mixing bowl.    南瓜泥、筛过高筋面粉和发粉、糖、盐、酵母、牛至和奶全都倒入碗。
  3. Knead the dough with the mixer for a short while. Add in the butter and continue kneading.     用搅拌机揉面团一会儿。加入牛油继续揉
  4. Stop kneading when the dough turns to elastically and stretchable to a thin layer.    当面团起筋可伸展,还可张开成一片透明薄膜即可停机。
  5. Roll the dough into a ball. Let it sit in a warm spot and goes for first proofing, until it grows 2 times bigger (approximate 60 minutes).     把面团搓成球状,置在温暖处发酵胀大至两倍大 (约60分钟)。
  6. While waiting, cut the bacon into smaller pieces.    在等待的同时可把熏肉切小片。
  7. Knead the dough to remove the formed air. Roll the dough into a ball again.     把面团取出排气,搓成球状。
  8. Cut the ball into 8 equal parts and roll into smaller balls.    把面团分8份,在滚成8个小球状。
  9. Take 1 small ball and roll out into a circle. Place the bacon and cheddar cheese in center.   取一份小球杆扁圆状,放熏肉和芝士在中间。
  10. Fold and form the dough into a ball. Put into the baking liner.   把面团摺好弄成球状,放在烤纸杯里。         
  11. Place the buns in a warm spot and go for second proofing (approximate 45-60 minutes).    面包置在温暖处发酵(约45-60分钟)。
  12. Egg wash the buns. Cut the 2 cheese slices into 16 thin strips. 2 strips each bun and make them a cross on top of the bun. Another layer of egg wash. Bake at 170°C for 15 minutes.    扫上蛋液。把2片状芝士割出16条状,每个面包用2条芝士排成十字在表面。入烘炉以170°C烘约15分钟。
