Crispy Chicken in Teriyaki Sauce & Crispy Sweet Potato Fries




Another struggling day for my boy's lunch. So I start off with a golden crispy chicken coated with Teriyaki sauce, and the sweet potato coated with golden breadcrumb.

Ingredients

Golden Crispy Chicken

  • chicken fillet    鸡柳
  • chopped garlic    
  • Sashimi soy sauce    刺身酱油    
  • dark soy sauce    黑醬油
  • sugar    
  • black pepper    胡椒粉
  • rice wine    米酒
  • sesame oil    麻油
  • corn flour    粟米粉
  • all-purpose flour    普通面粉
  • beaten egg    蛋(打散)
  • breadcrumb (mix with a little salt and pepper)    面包糠 (混合少许盐和胡椒)

Crispy Sweet Potato Fries

  • sweet potato (cut into french fries shape)    蕃薯(切薯条状)
  • beaten egg    蛋(打散)
  • breadcrumb (mix with a little salt and pepper)    面包糠 (混合少许盐和胡椒)

Steps 

Golden Crispy Chicken

  1. Place the garlic, Sashimi soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, rice wine, black pepper, sesame oil and corn flour into a bowl, stir well.     将蒜、刺身酱油、黑酱油、糖、米酒、胡椒、麻油和粟米粉混合均匀。
  2. Marinate the chicken fillet with the marinade in step 1 for at least 2 hours in the fridge.    用步骤1的腌汁腌鸡柳,放在冰箱至少2小时。
  3. Then coat the fillet with flour, follow by egg and lastly breadcrumb. Fried in pan. Cut into pieces.    鸡柳裹上面粉,然后蛋和面包慷。进锅煎熟切片。
  4. Cook and thicken the marinade in pan. Pour on top of the fillet. Serve with white rice.   腌汁煮熟变稠淋在鸡柳上,与白饭上桌。

Crispy Sweet Potato Fries

  1. The sweet potato fries coat with egg and breadcrumb. Bake at 200°C for 12-15 minutes.   蕃薯条裹上蛋液和面包糠,200°C烘12-15分钟。
