Home Made Pumpkin Noodle




I've planned long ago to have my own home made noodle. But it didn't work out since i don't have the noodle cutter/roller.
Fortunately, my mother-in-law brought me one few weeks ago. So, is time to let the dream comes true. My first try: Pumpkin flavored noodle.

Ingredients

  • all-purpose flour    普通面粉
  • pumpkin    南瓜
  • salt    

  Steps 

  1. Peel off the skin and dice the pumpkin. Steam the dices until there are soften, mash them.     南瓜去皮切叮,蒸熟再压烂成泥。
  2. Mix the flour, pumpkin puree and salt evenly into a dough.     把面粉、南瓜泥和盐混合成团。
  3. Rest the dough for an hour.    休面约1小时。
  4. Roll the dough through the roller to the desired thickness. Send the rolled sheet through the cutter. There you have the pumpkin noodle.   用压面机杆面团至你要的厚度,再放入压面机的切面刀切成面条状。
  5. Cook the noodle in the boiling hot water for a little while, then soak into cold water to stop the cooking process. The noodle is ready to use.    把面条放入滚水里烫一下过冷水即可拿来用。
