I've planned long ago to have my own home made noodle. But it didn't work out since i don't have the noodle cutter/roller.
Fortunately, my mother-in-law brought me one few weeks ago. So, is time to let the dream comes true. My first try: Pumpkin flavored noodle.
Ingredients
- all-purpose flour 普通面粉
- pumpkin 南瓜
- salt 鹽
Steps
- Peel off the skin and dice the pumpkin. Steam the dices until there are soften, mash them. 南瓜去皮切叮,蒸熟再压烂成泥。
- Mix the flour, pumpkin puree and salt evenly into a dough. 把面粉、南瓜泥和盐混合成团。
- Rest the dough for an hour. 休面约1小时。
- Roll the dough through the roller to the desired thickness. Send the rolled sheet through the cutter. There you have the pumpkin noodle. 用压面机杆面团至你要的厚度,再放入压面机的切面刀切成面条状。
- Cook the noodle in the boiling hot water for a little while, then soak into cold water to stop the cooking process. The noodle is ready to use. 把面条放入滚水里烫一下过冷水即可拿来用。
